Honoring Your Midlife Transition with Midwifery Care and Wisdom

Devi (देवी) is a Sanskrit word meaning "goddess" and it represents the supreme feminine divine principle. Devi signifies the power, excellence, and the active, feminine force that is needed to create. Your midlife represents a transformative season of your life that welcomes you to honor the wisdom that is revealing itself to you.

Midwifery care provides the ideal support through the significant and empowering transition of menopause as  our unique care model is centered on honoring each individual as a soveriegn being capable of choosing what is best for themselves.

By focusing on your unique needs and offering tailored guidance and compassionate support, I will help you to embrace this powerful stage of life with confidence, clarity and wisdom.

about me...

About

As a nurse-midwife for almost 15 years caring for thousands of women through the profound life transition of pregnancy and birth, I am devoted to providing the highest quality care to women. For most of my career, I supported women through their pregnancy, labor,  and birth. And as I've aged, I notice that women continue to deserve centered, respectful and empowering care through their menopausal transition - a timei n our life that is often overlooked or dismissed in conventional healthcare.

Now I bring the midwifery approach— which means centering your needs, respecting your autonomy, and honoring your cultural and spiritual needs—to perimenopause and menopause care. This means you will never just be a list of symptoms to manage. You're a whole person moving through a significant life passage amidst all the social and cultural forces that influence our lives.  Your transition deserves thoughtful, personalized attention which is what high quality midwifery care can offer.

Mywork as a meditation and yoga teacher directly informs how I approach menopause care. Because this transition isn't just physical—it touches all parts of your life, including your relationships, your sense of self, your community, and your spirit.

If you're looking for someone who will truly listen, who brings both clinical expertise and cultural respect, and who can help you understand what's happening in your body while honoring your values and your spirit—you have come to the right place.

"I finally feel understood."

— Loretta, 51

"After years of feeling dismissed by mainstream healthcare, finding this practice was a turning point for me. From my very first appointment, I felt completely safe and at ease. My cultural background and the spiritual practices that are central to my life were not just acknowledged — they were genuinely woven into my care plan. I finally have someone in my corner who sees all of me, not just my symptoms."

"This is care the way it should be." —  Priya M, 49

"I was nervous about discussing menopause — it's not something talked about openly in my community. But from the moment I walked in, I felt heard and respected. My spiritual beliefs were honoured, and my cultural values were treated with real sensitivity, not just as an afterthought. The quality of care here is exceptional, and I leave every session feeling empowered and supported on every level.""She sees the whole person, not just the patient." —

"She sees me as a whole person"  Carmen T, 55

"What sets this practice apart is how deeply personal the care is. I never feel rushed or judged. My heritage, my faith, my lifestyle — everything matters here, and it shows in the thoughtfulness of every recommendation. I came in feeling lost and overwhelmed by what my body was going through. Now I feel grounded, informed, and genuinely cared for. I cannot recommend this highly enough."
