Gamble everything for love, if you are a true human being.

If not, leave this gathering.   Half-heartedness doesn't reach into majesty.

DEVI Women's Health is rooted in both critical feminist theory and principles of engaged Buddhism. These ways of thinking lead to my core belief that human connection can lead to greater justice and liberation for all living beings. Trained as a midwife, an inherently radical profession, I seek to create an experience of wholeness in all endeavors, from the birth of a child to the birth of an idea.
Through the guiding wisdom of feminism and Buddhism- my research centers personal narratives as a starting point while expanding awareness outwards; reflecting the dual paths of inner liberation and outer liberation that honor the ecology of human systems. In Buddhism, the teaching of fierce compassion, can be harnessed to create justice and equity within our healthcare systems. These systems of care are failing many childbearing people and families as they are not designed to care for the whole person who lives at the intersections of complex personal, social and cultural identities.

Through my work as midwife, researcher, and activist,  I offer
engaged research rooted in contemplative practice

The following services are offered:
